2023 FCAN Members Financial Counselling Conference in Blue Mountains Deemed A Success
21st and 22nd August 2023 saw our FCAN members travel from across the state to the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains for our annual Financial Counselling conference.
This year we focused on addressing the issues that Financial Counsellors are facing across NSW. With the ever-increasing interest rates, cost of living, the impacts of COVID and natural disasters and the growing complexity of client situations.
The need for financial counselling has never been greater and our annual conference plays a vital part in supporting Financial Counsellors across NSW.
Our FCAN members were able to draw on expert insights equipping them with skills to prepare to meet the challenges ahead.

FCAN Conferences
Each year we host a conference alternating between regional and metro areas.
Our annual conferences bring everyone together to highlight issues affecting clients and provide our members with cost effective up to date professional development and self care. The conferences are part of our professional development suite of programs that FCAN coordinates for all NSW members throughout the year.
We invite supporters and sponsors from industry, government and regulators to partner with us and attend our conference.

In the spotlight
That’s a wrap! The 2022 FCAN conference “In the spotlight” was held at the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach on 14 -16 September 2022. Delegates, sponsors, speakers and industry stakeholders interacted face to face for the first time in 3 years.
